Derique's Biography

Derique has performed in theaters and television programs around the world from New York's Lincoln Center, to Univision's Sabado Gigante. He has toured in the USA, Europe, Asia, Latin America and South Africa. He appeared on the The Arsenio Hall Show, the Disney Channel, and starred in A Night at the Apollo at the Oakland Ensemble Theatre. Highlight performances include opening for Sammy Davis Jr., Bobby McFerron, and Lou Rawls.

Derique began clowning with Circus A La Mode at the age of fifteen with clown instructor, Arina Isaacson, in Berkeley and then went on to work with the Pickle Family Circus and Make-A-Circus in San Francisco.
